We made every component of this and had a lot of fun brainstorming combinations! We decided on: Chocolate sponge cake (my grandmother’s recipe), cranberry-strawberry compote, caramel pudding (first time making caramel from scratch), mascarpone whipped cream and fresh strawberries. The presentation is pretty classic, but I’m definitely more of a cook than a baker, so I’m still very proud!
