Brilliant service from start to finish.
Beginning snacks were all fantastic.
That bread and butter is the best I’ve had and there was as much as you wanted.

Scallop tartare was just like every other scallop tartare that every Michelin star restaurant in the UK does these days. It was tasty, it was fresh but nothing crazy.

Potato and roe was great. I won’t be able to look at my potatoes on a roast dinner the same again. Scooped up as much of the sauce as possible.

The roasted cod was a standout in my partners opinion, I’m not a huge fish lover but I thoroughly enjoyed this. Again, another amazing sauce.

Wow, lamb carrot, I wish there had been more, the flavours matched perfectly. The sauce was perfect. There was lamb inside the bread served alongside it.

The duck tasted delicious and yet another perfect sauce alongside it.

We both loved the 2 colourful desserts, and the ending snacks were a good ending.

    I still think about our dinner there at least once a week. It’s such a wonderful restaurant.

    Sadly, I’ve not done this one but Oncore in Sydney is pretty much the same menu and I can vouch for its brilliant. Absolute love it and the Potato and Roe is one of my favourite dishes of all time!
