Apologies for the poor lighting and overall presentation…I''m a novice at that part.

For the actual cheese part however I'm SLOWLY becoming more intermediate-level? The cheese itself is a mild but lovely tasting mixed-milk cheese called Campo de Montalban. It has a different flavor profile than a typical Spanish Manchego, and it apparently goes REALLY well with these sweet olive oil tortas and marcona almonds. The olive mix provides a great offset with their tart, savory, aromatic zest, while these almonds (they're friggin' sinful, practically macadamias) complement the sweet torta and creamy cheese with a smooth bitterness.

…I mean basically I just bought a bunch of Spanish-seeming things in the Wegmans cheese aisle to go with the Campo. I'm no expert (yet), but man it's good! My adjectives fail me but they really do seem complimentary!
