The Habit opened up by my workplace a few years ago. I enjoyed it very much on my first visits, but there was something about it that kept it from feeling like a more upscale burger joint.
One of my co-workers mentioned that he thought it was salty af and while I never compared the sodium content to other places, it felt like he was onto something. All I tasted from then on was salt burgers, or like they were pumped full of preservatives and artificial ingredients.
I’d only go there for a quick burger to fill my stomach now. Because if you eat more than one of their burgers/sandwiches in one sitting/day it makes you feel sick or gives you heartburn. And it tastes worse the more of it you eat.
Anyone else have this experience with that place? Because we all pretty much agree about it. Never had any fast food place make me feel ill like The Habit does, and if they’re all like this I dunno how they maintain a chain.

I can’t wait to try this burger.
Those look amazing. Eating 2 burgers and fries is actually just alot of food and hard on ur body i think. Sometimes ill eat 2 bacon cheesburgers from five guys then my stomach feel like an extremely painful balloon for the next 10 hours. Never had habit burger tho.
Big fan of Habit for a no-frills tasty fast food burger, but I am not of an age or temperament or cholesterol level to eat more than one at a time
I like Habit burgers. Driving by smells delicious like in n out. Burgers are juicy but a little expensive.
Your brain says yum, but your heart says what’s all of his cholesterol and fat doing around here.
Is this an American thing to go to a fast food place and eat more than one burger? It’s just not something we do in England
They have really good onion rings and ranch!
They tempura green beans are delicious, but don’t sit all that well with me. Otherwise, I’m a big fan.
5 Guys makes me feel gross af, I don’t bother anymore. Habit is…ok. But being in Cali, you know exactly where I’m better off going.
I tried it once and I only barely liked the fries. The burger itself was forgetful right after what’s the big deal with this place? I wanted a burger from a different place right after.
Have you tried eating less high fat high salt high carb food? Eat a ton of fast food from anywhere and you’re going to have a nasty food coma…
Like Starbucks makes you depressed. Yea I’ve been there and id probably do it again and again and next time extra pickles
I’ve never heard of that place. The picture looks good, ngl
feel like it’s the spitting definition of “just ok”
I absolutely love their food, but it does not love me back. I finally had to stop going there because I would end up in the bathroom, in agony, a few hours later. It didn’t matter what I got or which location I went to.
I’m pretty sensitive to salt, and I didn’t find them more salty than other fast food burgers.
Santa Barbera char hits, sweet potato fry’s hit. That’s all I got
If you eat what is in this picture, you should feel sick. This is a week’s worth of fat, sodium, and other crap. Fast food, not just habit, is not good for you. Why would you eat more than one burger ?
Neeeed
There is something unsatisfying about them.
Habit is top-tier greatness
Complete opposite for me. I actually feel like I didn’t eat as big a meal as I just did.
I ordered pickup once from habbit. They forgot the actual burger part. Spent whatever amount on a bun and vegetables.
Never had any issue with The Habit. Pretty solid burger imho.
Yes it’s probably related to the oils they cook w
I used to but the last couple of times I went the burgers didn’t taste salty. Maybe it’s just the location you’re going to?
No? They have one of the best family meals in the game if you want a decent burger.
Never heard of them
I seen them take the burgers from the back they’re frozen round shaped burgers (like McDonald’s)… They don’t look very natural like fatburger I have near me. Only ate there once( The habit)
They’re a glorified Burger King with better quality ingredients, perfectly adequate but not something I’d go out of my way for
Maybe try eating just one burger and fries?
Habit is our go-to when Innout isn’t available. So good. Maybe it’s just a bad location?
It’s upside down, is that their twist on a burger? Lame.
Awful
i had a joint nearby which I visited a lot for the year I was there. It was my senior college year and during my dozen of visits, it had not disappointed me. I went back to my school 8 years after that and the experience was amazing. Not the best burger ive had but it was nice. The shake completely solidifies back into ice cream and cannot be sucked through the thick straw. I have never had that happen anywhere else. The manager also gifted me a soda cup when I said I want to buy ome after finishing the shake. To this day I wonder why he did that. Unfortunately it has closed some time after that. I visited the area another 8 years after and wished I could have eaten there again.
They put a ton of salt on the fries.
Habit burger is so good
Never been. Should I?
I mean eating 2 burgers and 2 orders of fries at any restaurant will make you feel like shit
The Habit is such a solid good burger that is also unremarkable. Like I never leave saying yeah that was bad, but I’m also not like “wow I can’t wait for the next time”
They make a quality teriyaki burger.
Only if I haven’t had more. Love me some Habit..
Have you ever considered hydrating and moderating your intake? This isn’t difficult for most of us.
Probably the grease!
The Habit is super underrated. Burgers are great, fries are great, the Santa Barbara char is elite…and they have pepperoncinis, the yellow chilies that in n out AND jalapeños?
I don’t eat at The Habit frequently but never felt bad after eating their burgers
Habit was never bad to me, but never good either. I couldn’t put my finger on why, but I always felt unsatisfied.
