My wellness shots have antioxidants, prebiotics and probiotics, vitamin C and they're anti-inflammatory!

You'll need: 1-2 fresh sliced turmeric roots and ginger roots (you can use paste like I did or powdered, whatever you can find), diet OJ (or fresh OJ), 1 Tbsp fresh ground black pepper, apple cider vinegar, two 16 Oz jars, strainer.

Slice roots and add to a pot with 16 ounces of water, add freshly ground black pepper, boil for 5 minutes, remove from heat and allow to cool. Strain liquid and divide evenly into both jars. Add 1 1/2 Ounces of apple cider vinegar to each jar. Top both jars with 8 ounces of OJ, or until glass is filled. Makes sixteen 2 ounce servings. I drink one daily after breakfast.

Meal 1: scrambled egg whites and one egg with chopped turkey bacon. Sautéed baby spinach, cherry tomatoes and sliced mushrooms. Seasoned and baked hashbrowns.

Meal 2: Okios 3X0 yogurt cup, tangerine, home-grown blackberries, salt and vinegar almonds, salt and vinegar pistachios. Collagen powder and almond milk in a coffee.

Meal 3: spring mix greens, chopped green apple, goat cheese, reduced sugar craisins, marinated and baked chicken breasts, sliced scallions, light Balsamic dressing, white cheddar rice cakes.

Meal 4: sliced red apple, PB Fit mixed with vanilla whey protein powder, FlavorGod Buttery Cinnamon Roll seasoning and water, apple-cinnamon rice cakes.

Meal 5: Whole wheat penne pasta, steamed broccoli, marinated and baked chicken breasts, butter substitute – light, plain nonfat Greek yogurt, parmesan cheese, fat free shredded cheddar, reduced fat shredded sharp cheddar, sliced scallion. Seasoned with red pepper flakes, mustard powder, salt and pepper.

What is diet OJ? Do they water it down while charging you more?

I currently get my turmeric and black pepper in by dousing my morning hashbrown veggie scramble in a healthy dose, but I’ve thought about doing shots like these. Always store bought, though, so I appreciate the recipe! Gonna have to save that one.
