I really dislike spiders. Me and this one have an agreement. I feed it pests from the garden and it doesn’t sneak in and kill me in my sleep

I have a lot of agreements with the critters. I’m hoping my deer agreement pays off with babies soon. I think it has as my husband saw a tiny fawn day before yesterday. The family has one with a carpenter bee each year too.

That looks huge! What species is it and tell me that it’s not too close to Quebec.

Sounds like you are coming to a new understanding. I’ve learned to like all spiders, and try to not harm them, the daddy long legs eat ants!

I watched a yellow garden spider make short work of a cabbage white butterfly this morning. Little dude is welcome to make himself comfortable.

I think people fear spiders. In general unless you’re in Australia they’re great garden friends.

That’s the stuff of nightmares. I would give it anything it wants.

I crawl under multiple houses every day at work…me and the spiders have made a pact. When I’m in their house, I disturb them as little as possible and they let me do my work. When they’re in my house they disturb me as little as possible and I let them do their work. The pact is bound by a strict no-kill policy and so far the peace between us is long lasting. We still give each other a few surprises every now and then but every time I get a little creeped out I remember that I have five big fat hairy spider legs on each of my hands and together, we’re really just scared of each other. Dr. Seuss wrote a story called “What Was I Scared Of?” and I feel that characterizes nicely my relationship with spiders. Glad you and this one have a healthy working relationship!
