Did not come with any instructions, but I referred to the diagram on the box for placement of the holder for the catch cup. I opened to the grinder to remove the piece that the plastic fork screwed into, since this was preventing the metal catch cup holder from fitting. The rim of the catch cup can actuate the microswitch. I have not tried dosing with a specific weight of beans and comparing it with the weighed output to determine how much retention I am getting.

I would snap this up but it’s SO expensive!
I love this kit…but OUCH it’s pricey in Canada :(. I recently bought a Crono on sale for $279 CAD and threw the espresso burrs into it, and when I looked up the price for the single dose kit I immediately fired up the 3D printer. Honestly though, I’ve pulled all that stuff off and now just have it tilted to grind into a dosing cup I’m resting on a small mason jar under the spout. I put a $40 single-dose amazon bellows on it and am slowly getting used to the new workflow vs. the Fellow Opus I was using.
Looks great! I saw some black metal dosing cups on Amazon…you could pick up one of those and go full stealth mode 🥷
