Did the 8 course dinner ($235 per person) at The Dabney. Overall great experience, the restaurant is small and feels homey being kinda hidden in an alleyway amongst bars and other restaurants. We also went for the classic wine pairing ($135 per person) which was very tasty and the somm was very enthusiastic and explained the thought behind each pairing for the courses. Would definitely recommend coming here if you are in DC and want a nice menu that showcases hearth cooking and mid-atlantic ingredients.
Outstanding dish: Crab Stuffed Squash Blossom with Squash Puree and Virginia Peanuts (asked for a second serving as this was the best dish of the night)
