I made tomato preserves with this recipe and they are so overly sweet. https://www.cdkitchen.com/recipes/recs/7/TomatoPreservesII61734.shtml
Does anyone have a suggestion? They will go straight into the refrigerator.

I have SureJell low sugar pectin but tomatoes are not on the recipe guide in the package.
Since you’re straight up putting it in the fridge you don’t need to follow any kind of shelf stable recipe. If you were making a shelf stable recipe you need the sugar for preserving reasons.
Here’s a low sugar refrigerator tomato jam recipe: https://www.spabettie.com/easy-tomato-refrigerator-jam/
Here’s a shelf stable recipe for spiced tomato jam from an approved source: https://nchfp.uga.edu/how/make-jam-jelly/jams/tomato-jam-spiced-pectin/
