Hello all! I used the Ball Blue book recipe for raspberry jam…any clue as to whyy all the seeds floated to the top after i took them out of the canner?

Seeds just have a different density than the juice does- I just give it all a good stir when I open the jar.

I always just make jelly with the strained juice, I hate berry seeds in my teeth.

I often end up with floating fruit pieces. A good stir after opening redistributes everything.
