Finally got the opportunity to enjoy this restaurant with my partner for our anniversary. We walked in around opening time with no reservation and were sat at the bar. The service was fantastic and the wait staff was very knowledgeable on the menu and wine list.
1- Warm bread with rodolphe le meunier butter – the bread was perfectly warm and crisp and the seasoning in the butter was fantastic
2- Oeuf mayonnaise with squid ink, filet beans and osetra caviar on a hard boiled egg. This one stole the show for me. Not only is it a beautifully plated dish, the mix of flavors was incredible and brought out wonderful flavors in the wine we chose
3- Yellowfin Tuna in brown butter with a sesame crust. The smooth and crispy texture of the sesame crust was incredible and the tuna was perfectly cooked. I forgot to take a photo until after we’d already cut into it oops.
4- Veal sweetbread skewers. The veal was melt in your mouth tender and the presentation was lovely. It was surprisingly spicy but the onions helped even it out. Big fan of this one.
5- Grilled short rib with cherries and cipollini onions. I never expected cherries to pair so well with ribs. I normally hate the texture of onions but these were so incredibly crisp and sweet. The three ingredients paired so well and brought out all kind of beautiful flavors.
6- Créme caramel. Delicious delicious delicious. Beautifully sweet cream with a bit of a coffee(?) flavor that made it all come together

This looks amazing. Was it a la carte or a prix fixe? If the former, do you recall how many vegetarian-friendly dishes there were? Trying to plan a dinner with some friends in September.
One of the best
They’re really firing on all cylinders right now.
Four Horsemen literally never disappoints, it’s one of the few a la carte places where multiple times we’ve taken one bite of something and immediately asked for another portion of it. And this plus Estela are the places I trust the somms the most
How often is the menu changing? That egg is so mfn interesting.
I love this spot so much but it’s so ridiculously hard to get in – your strategy is on point to walk in early.
