    #   INGREDIENTS:

    1. Semolina 1cup / Idly Dosa Batter 2cups
    2. Yoghurt 1 cup
    3. Onion 1 large finely chopped
    4. Green chilis 2 chopped
    5. Coriander leaves a handful chopped
    6. Oil as needed
    7. Salt as required

    # METHOD:

    Serving Size: 5-6

    Take onions, chilis and coriander leaves in a bowl. Add some salt and mix well. If using semolina, then soak it in yoghurt and water along with salt and rest for 20 minutes. Add a pinch of baking powder to the mixture before preparing uthappam. Heat a skillet. Take a ladle of the batter and spread over it. The uthappam should be thick. Sprinkle the onion mix over it. Drizzle oil generously. Press the onion mix with a spatula so it sticks to the batter. Cover and let it cook till the bottom gets crispy. Flip over and cook till the other side turns golden. Serve with coconut chutney.
