Got this at a garage sale. Washed it out and it’s still white with a lil rust. Can’t see why there’d be an issue but figure I should ask first!

It will be fine for a little bit. That’s the type of canner my mom had as I was growing up. They eventually rust all the way through, but that one doesn’t look too bad

I have the same one and it looks even worse, you’re fine

You could try scrubbing with some vinegar and see if that helps. It looks like hard water deposits as well

As long as you don’t eat out of it..

Looks just fine. Let some vinegar soak in it to help take off some of the hard water build up. Just put vinegar in it, soak overnight then rinse and wash next day.
I will say this, I have one of those canning racks and they are annoying because you only can 6 or so jars at a time, and I felt the base of the rack is not as stable as the more newer ones. I would just get another to use and have. Especially if you can smaller 8 oz jars. The newer racks are easier to use for those jars. But that is just my opinion and experience.
