Over the past month, I’ve been eating steak on average 5 nights a week. Just curious what everyone’s opinion on this is health wise.
I don’t eat strictly steak, I eat a chicken salad (with onions and cucumber, olive oil and Celtic salt) for lunch along with some fruits, but dinner is just a steak fried in butter.

3-4x a week
3/4 times a week unless there’s some sales then 5 or even 6 days a week
Yes
Once a month
3-4 times a week, healthiest thing u can eat!
2-3x per week
Cardiologists across the US recommend steak for every meal
Since I am doing keto, probably 5x week
Of those that eat steak 3x or more a week, do you consider yourself a healthy weight?
Before my gout, twice a week. Now just once every 2 months
Couple times a week
What’s your health like eating that much steak? Age matters, too.
35 here eating 1 steak a week.
Not often enough
Quite often and now even more after looking at these babies
It’s been almost twice a week for the majority of the year.
Once… Every 3 months?
Usually I try to at least once a week. Some weeks I miss. Just on my way home right now to grill a 14oz ribeye and have a couple of lobster tails with it. When you’re single without kids, you can afford to treat yourself like that.
Probably twice a month. Doc said to slow it down for my cholesterol sake.
Obviously not as often as you😄
I have a piece of red meat about once a week, maybe less. A steak or a roast. I’ll generally have a burger one night a week also. Been doing a lot of Asian style wok cooking lately so it’s less likely to have a big hunk of meat, maybe strips of beef, pork or chicken with veggies stir fried. I did make a killer tri tip over the last weekend though, that’s definitely in the steak category.
1-2 a week
3-4 days a week at least
every other week or so. Sometimes more; sometimes less.
Not often enough.
I love cooking steaks but I’m only 24 and my cholesterol is kinda high so I only do like once a week now
2-4 nights a week. I only eat a regular homemade sandwich for lunch, no breakfast, and I work a strenuous warehouse job. Other dinners consist of chicken or shrimp. Always have a veg as well. Never had any issues with bloodwork etc. Probably 12 beers a week also. Weed daily, age 38.
Twice a week
Once a week, more than that sounds excessive tbh though it is my favorite food
2-3 times a month.
It really depends sometimes 2-4 times a week but it will also depend on one thing, leftover chicken I make another night before.
god those steaks look amazing
Whenever I see a piece of meat marked down at the store, I grab it. One of the times, it happened to be a large sirloin tip roast at Sam’s club that looked a bit oxidized but didn’t smell bad. I sliced off the grayish looking outside (my cat was happy to eat the pieces, I don’t like to waste) froze it for an hour, then cut it into a few thick steaks. They turned out freaking amazing, we had it with a homemade spicy horseradish pan sauce.
Anyways, that was months ago 😭
I’ve had steak 3 times this in 4 days so yeah abt the same
Once a month
if i could afford it i would eat a new york strip 3 nights a week at least
Must be nice being rich.
Like once a month because that shit is 1000 calories lol
My brother Reddit is not a doctor
Always have an “Old Blind Heifer” in the freezer 😂
Is it tomorrow yet?
I eat steak about 2-3 times a week…
Almost every day
As often as I possibly can. While I don’t believe meat is unhealthy, and I also think the saturated fat to health connection is not valid, life is short and meat brings me intense pleasure.
Some form of animal protein at least 5-6 days a week, with beef the preferred.
Not nearly enough
I miss a good ole fashion barbecue
I’ve been having it about 5 days per week
