I am slowly increasing my jar collection at the local thrift store for next seasons fruit. I am excited about the weck jar though it may stay decorative as I have only used ball 8 and 4 oz jars in the past. The 12 oz tall ball jar is fun but I am unsure about the safety of the octagon ball jar.
