Been starting to take more advantage of the once-a-week dealies that some places do. Sanpanino in the West Village does meatball parm heroes on Wednesdays (and they're kinda the only thing I get there now). L'Industrie does a different sandwich every Wednesday, mostly chicken lately; a chicken caesar one last Wednesday and a take on "cacio e pepe" today. Not cheap—they're like $20 each—but damn tasty. I usually go to the original Williamsburg location since the WV line is always stupidly long.
I'm curious about more of these, since they're often not listed on regular menus. What are some weekly specials around the city that you like? Doesn't have to be sandwiches… but I do like sandwiches.
