The sunflower head reminded me of the volleyball named Wilson in the movie Castaway. My compost that I've turned into a flower/ garden bed looks really nice this year. I've had volunteer red potatoes and tomatoes pop up. Planted other things as well. Basically watered it every day and tended to it. Your chickens are blessed which in turn you are blessed with eggs. 🎉

You are probably already doing this, and I am sure I sound like an annoying old lady, but please be sure to wear sunscreen and a good hat to protect your skin. I was very carefree about it until I had to have skin cancer cut out of my face a few years ago.
