Visited Gaggan 2 weeks ago and I am still in awe about the experience. The food was mediocre at its best with some heavy misses but some other pretty decent dishes. People seem to recommend it a lot in this group, for me it completely lost it in the experience. It didn’t feel like a restaurant but more like a hangout bar for white people in Bangkok. After some point I was really hoping for everything to finish so I can rest in peace. Apart from Gaggan I also visited all the other highly recommended places from this group in Bangkok (Sorn, Samrub, Ore and Baan tepa) and I must say they all blew Gaggan away, with Sorn and Ore being the highlights of my trip.
