2nd time making a cake; baked a cake for my mom’s birthday 🥰

My second time baking a cake, for my mom's birthday this weekend. First time was an animal crossing cat cake last year for my sister's birthday. I think I'm getting pretty good 🥰

Chocolate chiffon cake, classic vanilla frosting, frosting and strawberry slices in the center. Decorated with chocolate shavings, strawberries, and farm fresh blueberries! I'm really happy and proud how it turned out.

I used the chocolate chiffon cake recipe by justonecookbook and it is excellent! I made slight modifications since I wasn't making a bundt cake but efinitely would recommend 👌
