My local Aldi had a deal on some petite sirloins so I scooped up a few. This is one of them served with Mexican rice and a quick little pan sauce I made to deglaze the pan.

Yep, ALDIs stake are still my bread and butter. Can’t afford anything else right now. But a good steak is a good steak

For what they are… I love them. The NY strips are actually thick and easy to grill.

Aldi meat has definitely been on the up and up over the years. I made some BOMB ass chicken thighs from Aldi. It was ~6 bucks for 9 huge thighs.
