not to sound like a cornball but i recently went to indienne and thought it punched way above its weight class. was only $125 for the omnivore tasting menu and i would have paid much more – definitely my favorite one star in chicago right now. the dishes were all plated beautifully, the service was great (naan refills, complimentary champagne and dessert wine), and the flavors were all so unique. favorite was the chicken makhani (slide 7) but the scallop was great too. makes me want to take a trip to london to try more indian tasting menus

We did not get complimentary anything from what I can recall lol, but yes I agree. It is so damn good for a cheap one star. I just am so worried they are going to start raising their prices like Kasama did. I want to be able to go again without thinking I could’ve spent that $800 on somewhere new (a big reason why I haven’t returned to Kasama even though I loved it).
The Butter Chicken Mahkani dish was perfect.
The scallop there is tremendous
Just went there and absolutely loved it.
Low key had some of the better cocktails we’ve had from Michelin starred Chicago restaurants as well.
