I visited Kyodoryouri Tsugumi (Local Cuisine Tsugumi) in May and had a fantastic experience. Their menu theme changes by the season, with my course focusing on wild game found locally in the Kyushuu Region (one of their hunter suppliers was actually dining with us that night)

On the menu there items such as
Basashi
Duck
Venison
Boar
Badger

They really focused on making the local ingredients shine, my favourite was the badger dish which was super tender and flavourful. The chefs prepare in front of you, there were 3 of them and all super friendly.

I made the reservation online about 1 months in advance on pocket concierge, the course costed ¥22,000. I highly recommend this restaurant, I’m keen to visit at a different season to try a different course
