Now, I’m back to canning with a different stove.
My state, through the West Virginia University’s Extension Service, has a yearly friendly gardening competition to get communities throughout the state to teach themselves that they can grow their own food.
WVU’s Extension Service supplies free seeds to everyone in the state each year that applies for them. I believe this is the seventh year the program has been active….
Today, the WVU Extension Service just gave me a shoutout on their Facebook page for my canning of Russian Kale. Which is one of the three seeds we received from them this year….
