Salsa Chilanga – got this version of a recipe from a taqueria recently. They called it Chilanga. Simply roasted jalapenos (6 medium) and onion (1 large) then blitzed with splash of water and slowly added neutral oil to emulsify. Add salt to taste. Keeps getting better each day! Great topping salsa

Whole chilis or did you remove seeds and veins?

  2. Jalapeño, onion, salt. Perfection.

Same ingredients to the salsa I like to make. Only I add garlic and lime juice. Delicious.

  3. Tacodeli in Austin calls this doña. That’s the first place I saw it, but now a bunch of taco places have it.

Cool! Have always wondered about this one. A few well known taco shops serve this in San Diego.
