First time using a stainless steel pan on some trusty Costco steaks, how did I do?
My wife said it was delicious so that’s a win in my books

Looks good to me! Stainless is great for everything. It’s just usually more expensive.

i use stainless steel, what method did you use to get this nice sear? what oil did you use or butter and oil?

Hot Take: Stainless pans are better for a fast sear than cast iron. You can get them so much hotter and much faster and control the heat better. If you have a high BTU burner and access to a quality steel pan, give it a shot. There is a bit of a learning curve. I heated one up like I would cast iron and smoked out my entire home because it was over 700 degrees.

They always look really good but I’ve never bought a Costco steak because I have to spend at least $100 buying 3 or 4 steaks, and Its just me. How are they?

Costco steaks are some choice pieces of meat honestly.
If I want only one or two I’d stop at aldi’s or possibly if I wanna spend more. But Costco is where you go if you’re cooking to brown noise or apologize

Hell of a meal by the looks of it
