  1. Looks good to me 👍🏾 I really like cooking with stainless after avoiding them for years.

  2. Looks good to me! Stainless is great for everything. It’s just usually more expensive.

Sear looks fantastic, what level heat and oil did you use?

I’m a bit of a steak noob. What is the cut?

  5. I’d eat the fuck out of that. I enjoy cooking steak on stainless steel.

i use stainless steel, what method did you use to get this nice sear? what oil did you use or butter and oil?

Hot Take: Stainless pans are better for a fast sear than cast iron. You can get them so much hotter and much faster and control the heat better. If you have a high BTU burner and access to a quality steel pan, give it a shot. There is a bit of a learning curve. I heated one up like I would cast iron and smoked out my entire home because it was over 700 degrees.

They always look really good but I’ve never bought a Costco steak because I have to spend at least $100 buying 3 or 4 steaks, and Its just me. How are they?

Looks great ! What kind of oil/fat did you use

Costco steaks are some choice pieces of meat honestly.

If I want only one or two I’d stop at aldi’s or possibly if I wanna spend more.
But Costco is where you go if you’re cooking to brown noise or apologize

Looks good. I’m mostly stainless now – some cast iron here and there.
