  1. I LOOOOOVE bruschetta! And yes, when I talk about it to other people I say "bruschetta, bruschetta, however you like to say it" too! Lol! I do love balsamic drizzle or even just balsamic vinegar in the tomato mix and fresh grated parmesan on top! ❤ chefs kiss So good!

  2. My plants hav tons of fruit but nothing ripe yet. May try this with a selection of cherry tomatoes to get the colors going once they do start to come in.

  3. I like to serve my bruschetta with a strip or two of bacon on top for a different take on the traditional BLT. I love how you beam with pride watching Ben taste test. He’s growing up and acting more like his dad every day!

  4. Love me some Bruschetta! 🍅 When you were talking about ways to mix it up, it reminded me of this local Italian chain we used to have here in the Portland area. They made a version that came with this roasted egglant spread to put under the bruschetta. It was so stinkin' good!! 🤤

  5. On a trip I had a bruschetta that was made with fried pizza dough and white balsamic vinaigrette. It was delicious. Usually I make it with toasted bread as Jess does it in the video but I'm also going to try recreating the pizza version

  6. Bruchetta tastes better when someone else makes it. In our family we need to take in turns to make. It's my staple in summer and always ordered in winter when dining out. I found a restaurant that puts avocado on as well. YUM!

  7. Have you ever tried roasted veges and polenta? It is one of my summer favorites as well. It is so good with fresh garden veges.

  8. I’m curious as to what that little yellow gold tomato is. I grew one that looks like that this year but to the best of my knowledge I didn’t buy any seeds that looked like that. Thanks for the bruschetta instructions.

  9. I love bruschetta! I have never thought to just rub the toast with a garlic clove, I'll have to give that a try! My favorite recipe adds balsamic vinegar, olive tapenade and capers to the basic tomato and basil mixture. Highly recommend!

  10. @The_Farmers_Table please do a vlog on kitchen knives. I’m interested in the brands, cost, different types you use most. And how you keep them sharp.

I’ve been struggling lately getting my knives sharp. Same knives as always, but all of a sudden I can’t get them sharp enough. And they are not cheap knives. 😢

  11. I was just thinking about making this for lunch today. Perfect Timing. I would have forgot the cooktop toasting. YOU my dear got us hooked on Dr Wychee's. I grew them in abundance this year and we thoroughly enjoyed them. They are our new favorite tomato. Ben is an excellent tester. Good to have one of those around :0)

  12. Pioneers woman’s recipe uses both red and yellow cherry tomatoes in her exceptional recipe. The sweetness from the cherry tomatoes really shines in this recipe, and I use butter instead of olive oil…. It’s SO good

  13. 😋🤤 yummy I love a good frittata❤ I love Italian food and I also watch lidia bastianich she did something like that. Tyam for sharing your side of the recipe 🥰
