Sorry I don’t know he answer, but it looks delicious

No signs of tunneling, so no. It might be dense because of a leavening or ingredient ratio issue.

Maybe marginally but I think it still looks great

Hmm, unsure; I’ll need to taste it to find out

Pound cake is supposed to be dense. It is hard to tell from the picture, but it could be slightly under baked. If it’s under baked, it’s not by much. It honestly looks quite tasty.

  7. Came here to say it looks absolutely perfect! Perfectly dense, in a good way, like a good pound cake should be.

Poundcake is supposed to be dense. A light and fluffy cake isn’t a poundcake. This looks delicious.

I’m not a baker at all but it looks really good. I know a lot of southern pound cakes are incredibly dense so it should alr.

It’s pound cake. Even the name announces density.

    It looks good to me.

  11. Looks SUPER over baked. Feel free to ship it to me so I can confirm!

Looks like a proper pound cake from here. Was it moist or dry?

You can’t show delicious pound cake and not tell us the recipe. 🙁

It looks good to me. Doesn’t appear stodgy at all.
