Looks delicious, but judging from the softness of the texture, I’d call that rare. Not that it’s a bad thing, that’s how I like my steak! It looks amazing. I hope you enjoyed it!

It’s still really rare in the middle, almost has that blue look. That said, it still looks wonderful, and I like anything from rare to medium, so it’s just about perfect.

The middle is raw. Some looks to be medium, but “perfect medium rare” it is not.

I consider that almost blue and “just walked it past the grill but didn’t put it on” but that’s how I love it! So, in my opinion, job “well done”! 😜

this is gonna sound sacrilegious, but i actually like the cap well done and crispy lol.
i think it’s bc growing up my dad would always cook the ribeyes til well-fucking-done and the only edible part was the cap.
plus it goes really well with rice!!
