A Friend of Frankly Vegas https://www.instagram.com/foodandwine77/ recommended Scarpetta to us several years back. Smack dab in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip, we wondered how this seemingly low-key haven of Italian tastiness evaded our attention.
Maybe it’s because the Cosmopolitan has offered so many food choices, ranging from the tasty Momofuku headed by a controversial celebrity chef, to their Vegas buffet version of tastiness, Wicked Spoon.
Our experiences in this video were captured during a time when, up until recently, nearly all marketing for Scarpetta avoided using the words “upscale” or any semblance or pretension of “fine dining.”
