Sorry for the lack of shallots and thyme. Just gimme a buttery steak baby. Yum.

I always use butter to cook and sauce my steaks when stovetop cooking.

Crushed garlic cloves, thyme & a tiny bit of rosemary in that brown butter for me.

I WARN YOU, DO NOT BUTTER BASTE YOUR PENIS. NO MATTER HOW “APPETIZING” IT MAY SOUND IT IS NOT WORTH IT

Fried steak. Try over live fire/coals for 10x better result

Yes, but where’s the sprig of thyme?

I kept watching and waiting for that top little left corner to get drenched and it didn’t happen 😤

I pull the Michael Scott and dip mine in my wine. I have sensitive teeth.

…Usually just use jello shots and Barry White, but, uh, yeah, your way is good too!

I have no tried this before what does it do for the steak? And how long are you supposed to do it for?

  12. No but it good to put some fresh herbs in there while you coating it in butter

i prefer to get my face wet, and stinky if you know what i mean.

  14. It’s just oil and butter. Pretty much what you cook a good New York strip in. You just baste it. It’s pretty damn good.

  15. basting with brown butter alone? yes it’ll get that buttery flavorful taste but.. it could use some rosemary and garlic? well it’s your preference, anyway!

for the first timers who might browse here? do not forget when you put it off the pan, rest your steak ideally for five minutes! 🙂
