Ingredients
For the Hot Honey:
honey
hot sauce
For the Feta Dip:
8oz (230g) feta cheese
6 oz (170g) Greek yogurt or sour cream
1 garlic clove, grated
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons olive oil
Toppings:
dried figs
roasted salted pistachios, chopped
olives
olive oil
Instructions
Place the figs into a bowl and pour some boiling water over them (enough to cover them).

Add all of the feta dip ingredients to a food processor fitted with the blade attachment and pulse until smooth. Transfer the dip to a serving plate and using the back of a spoon to create a swirl.

Make the Hot Honey: Add some honey to a bowl and add a splash of hot sauce. Whisk together and taste. Add more hot sauce if desired.

Garnish the feta dip with sliced figs, pistachios, olives, a drizzle of olive oil and some of the hot honey.

Serve the dip with toasted pita bread and veggies for dipping.

Notes
Transfer leftovers to an airtight container and refrigerate up to 3 days.

  3. Can you make the whipped feta base several hours in advance or will the dip separate? I’d like to take it to a party and plate and top it just before serving.
