Cooked 2 steaks, meant for one to be medium and one medium rare but ended up with one medium and one that seems closer to rare and potentially blue in some places.
We all loved and CRUSHED both steaks but im curious what you all would consider this.

First picture is blue, the second shows medium rare, rare and medium…quite a mix. Personally I like blue. It’s tender and tasty but a little hard on my digestive system. My go to is a medium rare and I LOVE it.
That thing is still alive.
I’ll go with purple.

What did the thermometer say? Blue is 120. Below that is raw. Above that is rare
It would be vlue if the sear boundary was shorter
I would consider it ready to eat and put it in my mouth.
