Hello! I ate at a restaurant today and had the above. Those pieces on the “egg” are crispy pieces of vegan bacon. I am dying to know how it could have been made. It was delicious and the texture is unlike anything I’ve eaten. Anyone have an idea?

The egg is what is impressive to me. 😋

I would also love to know. That breakfast looks amazing across the board!

My husband has made the rice paper bacon before, and it’s very good in wraps and sandwiches but very crispy (not ideal maybe for all uses). I have had coconut bacon at some restaurants, and it is nice, but it tastes like coconut. At home, we tend to just buy Litelife smoky tempeh.

UNREAL DELI Bacon, they have it at sprouts and it’s AHMAYZING! [Link](https://unrealdeli.com)

Also LightLife Tempeh “Smoky Bacon” is really good too I have it every weekend.

I marinate either mushrooms or aubergines thinly sliced in soy sauce and brown sugar. The trick is to let them marinate.

    Seitan?

Anyways I personally find coconut bacon to hit the spot.

  7. Not sure if it’s the same one they use, but the best vegan bacon I’ve had is the All Vegetarian Inc brand. Not sure where to find it in store but there are some sites that do shipping, but only in bulk.

It looks similar to Thrilling Foods bacon. Best vegan bacon I’ve ever had. Not sure how it could be recreated though.

  10. I had some vegan bacon that was really tasty from Unmarro brand. Found it at Whole Foods
