Had this with steaks for dinner. Best Napa cab I have tasted so far.

  1. I’m rather new to wine, but have been trying to learn more with my grandfather as he has a decently large cellar.

    Tasting notes:

    Was very closed off at first, decanted for around 90 minutes and it really opened up. Finished my glass around 2.5 hours after decanting and it hadn’t started to die off.

    Earthy nose, some leather, and some hints of fruit.

    On the palate it was very soft, but there was still some noticeable tannin. Had a hint of sweetness on the finish.

    This is the first time I’ve written tasting notes, so feedback is appreciated.

    Overall, it was one of the best wines I’ve tried. I would give it 95-96 points.
