That famous taqueria on Water St next to a donut shop where you have to go to get cash, lol. The salsa is very unique. I think they ferment it. It obviously has a lot of garlic. The add something I can't quite replicate. Fermenting Serrano, garlic, tomatillo, white onion comes very close, but not quite there. The bottles in the shop have oil in the salsa. Maybe they use oil and vinegar after fermenting?

Any idea how to make Moreno’s red salsa (the one they give you with chips)? I really miss that stuff having moved away.
Probably either Lemon or Lime juice. Most authentic places would never use Vinegar and would not hesitate to use Lemon or Lime in a Salsa.
