  1. Wonderful video! You work so hard; you’re quite the mother, and woman. I am 70, and started watching your videos when my grandchildren were toddlers, as I was looking for Jewish themed kid ideas. My DIL is not Jewish, so I am in charge of their cultural Jewish home life. Always need new recipes, especially for the holidays. Looking forward to your Rosh Hashana video.

  2. To keep my cast iron from rusting after I wash it, I heat it thru on the stove top to completely dry it. And I reseason it as necessary. My mother and grandmother did this also with their cast iron cookware. I don't like that cast iron cookware is heavier because it's harder to lift and hold, but I do like how evenly it heats and that it doesn't use Teflon coating. It will be interesting to see what you replace your grill pan with. Yes, I had heard that shredded cheese has wood pulp(cellulose) added as a noncaking agent. It seems like the more convenient foods are, the more likely to have something weird in it. I've started making some of my convenience foods homemade, in part to be more economical but also so I would know what ingredients were in my mixes. It's been a fun project too.

  3. Our Costco has a kosher meat section. I also usually get my fish from there if I do not get it at Aldi. Amazon has a non stick ceramic grill pan on sale for $24. They also have a larger one for $31. I, too, say amen after your blessings. They coat cheese with cellulose which is made from wood.

  4. Hi Sonya, immensely enjoyed your video.. I’ve been noticing that you put parchment paper over the foil and aluminum pans lately..is that for health purposes or to make cleaning easier . Have a wonderful week❤

  5. I went to Costco today and it was crazy busy! I always get the croissants, Milano cookies, fruit and package salads. So many things!

  6. I loved seeing you in the Ecuadorian apron! I am not Jewish, but I love your videos. I am an expat in Ecuador, I have tried many of your recipes when I entertain. Peace to you and yours.

  7. Yes we just heard about the cellulose in the cheese. Disgusting. I have stopped buying grated cheese altogether. Thank you for your videos, always inspiring, DL

  8. Oh, Sonya, the baby is growing up so fast!!! Blessings! The food looks so delightful! Loved the zucchini rolls! I am going to try those! 🤗

  9. Love your channel!! Tip for healthier dressing: try the avocado mayo from Costco instead of the hellmanns — which is made from toxic soybean oil.❤

  10. Loved watching this video! I’m an avid Costco shopper and my home isn’t complete if I don’t have their ICE sparkling water beverage lemonade flavor, zero sugar and so delicious especially during this summer.

  11. Dear Sonia, I really enjoy watching you cook… but how much salt hahaha. I use Himalayan salt, it is significantly less salty than any salt I know.❤

  12. Shalom SSona love your preps. I had 6 children and we could never eat that much food at a dinner esp the salads. Now theres just me and my husband at home and Im wondering how to make even less for our dinners but not cutting on the taste or the eye candy effect. I esp liked the Grilled chicken and potato wedges. Wish we lived closer 💗🎶

  13. I'm in transition to more faith/ clean eating and my philosophy is that I'm okay with my junk food being junky, though I try to get better options when I can. But I want my healthy food to actually be healthy and not full of corn syrup, seed oils and additives

  15. Hey Sonya, could you show some more meatless / vegan recipes for inspiration? And maybe tips on how to reduce waste when cooking and eating kosher? Much love 💗

  16. This " cooking for new moms families " is so amazing thing you guys do! That's really great help. That's what we , non Jews should take example from you.

  17. So delicious your food. Love hearing noise from children never apologise for that good sound. 😊😊😊 just a quick note , more often that not Raw honey is very rarely that you will know if there’s a sugar look at the bottom or top of your jar. Real Raw honey should be completely transparent always. Just watch out for that. As a lot of companies add way more sugar Real honey doesn’t need added sugar. ❤❤❤❤❤
