First day trying to eat this way and lunch is a salad: arugula, spinach, dried cranberries, dried apricots, apple, walnuts, feta and homemade balsamic vinaigrette 😋

At the beginning of the summer I had some tests with my OBGYN that revealed I had precancerous cells on my cervix (just one developmental tier below cancer as he put it). I was supposed to have a procedure to remove said cells this week, but for some personal reasons have had to reschedule to February. I’m 26 with two young kids and definitely would love to avoid developing cervical cancer.

I plan to eat Mediterranean style, take oil of oregano and make tea from soursop leaves daily for the next seven months. The goal is to have less precancerous cells or better yet – have none naturally without the procedure.

I’ve done some research and found that the Mediterranean diet seems to be the best option for cancer prevention/holistic treatment. This is my first day trying to eat this way and I am optimistic! If anyone has any tips or suggestions I am open to them!

I’m the same age with two young kids too! I can’t even imagine how scary this is for you. Sending you hugs!

I really hope you can get the procedure as soon as you are able, OP. Im sure you know that diet 💯 isnt a substitute for medical care. (If your personal reason is medical, that’s always valid, I’m just worried you are missing precious time right now to get treated.) I’m sure this is a scary experience and I wish you the best. Take care.
