Paper plate for scale. Chicken cutlet, mozzarella, prosciutto, tomato, pesto, balsamic dressing

I get it on a round semolina bun with roasted red peppers instead of tomato, extra pesto and dressing. $22 and well worth it

  1. The cross section of almost this exact order(semolina hero over roll) is my phones background. Excellent choice my friend!

Chicken cutlet should be called the Dee. Stupid bird.

That looks awesome! Do they normally serve it with sun-dried tomatoes or fresh?

One of the things I miss from the bodegas in NYC is the weird prevelance of thin breaded chicken cutlets in everything. You really don’t read or hear much about it, but it’s a thing.

  6. I gotta redennis this sandwich so I can shove it in Dee’s face.

I play videogames with a guy that lives on Long Island and his diet pretty much consists of chicken cutlet sandwiches

All these food videos I see from Manhattan are like 10 lbs of cheese and 30 eggs with mayo and butter and everything else. Same with pizza and fried chicken and chopped cheese and all that. Are people in Manhattan getting huge or what? Looks great though!

The Park Wood Deli in Midland Park, NJ has a very similar (and delicious) sandwich.

Holy Cats, that is a lovely sandwich!!

  16. The best roasted peppers I’ve ever had. When I was an apprentice my Journeyman grew up on Mulberry st and took me to the neighborhood for food. She roasts those peppers on her stove at her apt every night! That place is amazing.
