My grandfather has his 94th birthday coming up, and we are planning on sharing a nice bottle with close family. These are the options from what he has in his cellar. Based on fill level, which should we pick? The La Mission looks like it could go a lot longer, but how soon should we drink the others?

Latour and Haut Brion are Iconic Wines and Gruaud Larose is not too shabby, though 83 isn’t quite up to the quality of 82. Anyone would be happy to drink these and the fill levels are spectacular. Invite some wine lovers to this.

What are you serving for the meal?
You can’t lose. I’d pick the Latour myself. 82 is a prize year and you’d be hard pressed to find a better example of the vintage.
