Is this a brag or a complaint I can’t tell?

I can only imagine how it tastes. But the plating would get yelled at if they made it on Masterchef.

Looks fire but it’s missing some of the steak I feel haha

That would be fun to try. Looks delicious.

So what is the green stuff keeping the mushroom sauce in check, and what is the green egg?

That’s a hard pass for me. I just don’t like sauces on my steak.

Idk if I would order something as common as steak at a Michelin star restaurant.

If you’re in DC you should try Jońt next. It’s a 2 star that’s so worth the price

Needs more steak. That’s like an appetizer for me.

The plating is unappetizing. That’s kinda a disappointment. I’m glad it tasted good.

  10. Looks pretty good, give me 4 plates and it might fill me up :)!

If you’re fine dining in the DC/northern VA area then it’s worth the hour drive to the Inn at Little Washington. It’s got 3 Michelin stars, the only restaurant on the east coast south of NY to have 3 stars, and it’s been there for decades. I ate there to celebrate my anniversary a couple of weeks ago and it was magnificent

I love the idea of fine dining but the whole minimalist approach leaves me hungry. But that steak looks off the charts.

  13. That steak looks almost as wet as I am thinking about that steak

  14. WHAT DID THEY DO WITH THE REST OF IT????? Looks amazing, but I’m crying about how much you paid them for 5 slices…

I’m surprised a restaurant with a star would serve such sloppy plating.

Wonder who bought the other half of it

I’ll never understand this. Is it amazing? Hopefully. Is it thaaat much better than a well marbled room temp rib-eye seared in my pan with garlic, butter, and rosemary? I doubt it. Maybe I’m just a simple man lol

The steak looks great and I bet the flavor was awesome. That plating is an absolute joke though. They had so many options and they thought “yeah that looks good.”

Like, if that’s Michelin level plating then Applebee’s deserves at least one star.
