Honestly I was a bit disappointed. There were definitely some highs like the foie gras and turnip and the langostine in curry but the lows had clashing flavors that nearly ruined beautifully cooked dishes like the weird anise flavor in the lobster or a charred eggplant that tasted like an ashtray. I was expecting mindblowing delicious for a 3* but maybe I'm just not that into french food as I thought…
Also the format wasn't a tasting menu but a la carte.

Ah well it’s ambrosia. It’s a restaurant that had been dividing internet opinion between those who claim they “get it” and those well say “meh was that all?” for well over twenty years!
I wouldn’t be surprised it’s alc not tasting though. After all it’s l’ambroisie they don’t do tasting menus (although personally speaking I would see that as a positive!!).
Beef looks raw. Other than that, everything looks beautiful.
