I had about 650 grams of Spanish red peppers, and made some sambal. I added 65gr of salt (1/10) and 22 gr of rice vinegar (1/30). I also added a couple of garlic cloves for extra flavour. I’ve blended everything and put it in small jars for friends, family, neighbours etc. It’s an easy recipe and because of the salt/vinegar you can preserve it a little longer.
The only thing that bothers me are all those air bubbles in the jars. Does anyone have tips for getting the bubbles out?
