Never had these. Just wondering if anyone has tried them. And what is the best way to cook them?

Not sure. You might have to send them to me for testing. Strictly for scientific research obviously.

A5 Wagyu ribeye? Nah. Terrible steak. Not worth the $8 you probably paid for it.

Terrible. I’ll take it off your hands and dispose of it properly.

I mean, it looks marbled enough…but definitely the oldest meat still available before real expiration.

I know a5 is the holy Grail but that’s a lot of fat. Aren’t we here to eat meat, not fat? Also, ligma

I would not eat anything labeled “Ligma”

Yes, but only if you want to break all of your teeth. Personally, I prefer to defrost my steaks and use some sort of heating device to cook them.

I am a reverse sear fan and it’s how I have done all my Australian & Japanese Wagyu. I cook them the same way as others with the exception of only using garlic, salt & pepper dry rub.

Ligma is the brother of Kagoshima. How dare you!

I haven’t had this specific A5, but I have tried Japanese A5 amd didn’t like it. I grew up working on ranches and the best beef I’ve ever had came from a Mexican family that had the ranch on the other side of the fence from us. The second best beef came from the main ranch I worked on (local ranch that belonged to my buddy’s grandparents). I miss good ol Colorado beef…

Best way to cook a Ligma is with deez nuts lightly sprinkled on each side

I dont think Id ever buy anything called Ligma…

Na these suck. Mail them to my house I’ll bring them to the dump.

Honestly I’d never buy a steak with this much fat. Fat is flavor, of course. But I don’t eat vials of fruit flavor concentrate when what I really want is a handful of Jolly Ranchers. Give me a well marbled ribeye where the meat is clearly visible and laced with about 20% visible fat.

For anyone wondering ligma provisions is a real company that I’ve purchased from multiple times. They have AMAZING australian wagyu.
