    So… I only grill it wrapped in foil. You just throw it on the grill naked? Do you flip it at all?

    Buy the big bag of garlic from Costco, and use a few muffin trays to conveniently hold each head upright while in the smoker. You can make 30+ heads at once this way, then freeze it in ice cube trays so you always have smoked roasted garlic ready to go in ~1.5tbsp increments whenever the need may arise.
