Detailed Review #6: Van Leeuwen Peanut Butter Brownie Honeycomb
To see if we have similar tastes, I think that Ben & Jerry’s Half Baked is good, not great, and that Jeni’s Gooey Butter Cake is pretty awful.
Pros:
– Brownie chunks are amazing and much better than the Ben & Jerry’s ones
– French vanilla base is very good and is one of the best vanillas I’ve ever had
– The honeycomb adds great texture and some good flavor
– There is tiny specks of brownie throughout the whole ice cream and there are chunks of brownie too
– There is a great overall combination of flavors
Cons:
– There’s too much peanut butter, it’s quite salty, and hard to scoop
– Honeycomb chunks are pretty big and there’s not as much of them as I’d like
Summary:
The pros completely outweigh the cons, and I’ll grab one if I see it. There’s a lot of peanut butter and it’s hard to scoop but pretty much everything else is amazing. Overall: 9.3/10.

I’ve only had this flavor at the actual shop and it was the vegan version. Knocked my socks off. I dream of that
I have this in my freezer right now. I agree, a bit too much peanut butter and not enough honeycomb. I’d buy it again though.
