I planted tomato seeds from dollar tree. They were marked as beefsteak tomatoes. The only other tomatoes I've grown were cherry tomatoes which these clearly are not. My mother stopped by and demanded I was wrong and they are Roma tomatoes. I'm not sure, but I am happy with the amount that are growing.

Romas, good for sauce.
They’re shaped like San Marzano tomatoes
I think these look more like SAN Marzano than Roma, due to the more irregular shape! Romas look more rounded and smooth to me whereas these have some fluctuations from top to bottom
Romas are a determinate breed of San Marzano. If you got all the flowers and fruits at once, probably Roma– but if they’re popping up here and there in no particular schedule, I’d guess San Marzanos. These are the two I planted this year and they’re pretty much indistinguishable off the vine.
Yeah I’m voting San Marzano also, but it’s possible that they’re Roma
Romas or San Marzanos, the most important part is that they’re great for sauce (and salsa).
San Marzanos, and they are beautiful. Make them into soup, sauce, paste. Paste takes a bit of attention, but it’ll be the best tomato paste you ever had, and freezes beautifully. Little cupcake liners with 2-3 Tablespoons in each.
How large are they?
San Marzano or Roma
They kind of look like plum, Romas, or San Marzano tomatoes?!🤔
San Marzanos or Romas… they look great, BTW!!
San marzano for sure. That’s a happy accident!
Lucky! I planted San Marzano seeds and ended up with sun gold cherry tomatoes 😅
San Marzano
Paste tomato
You know, I’m going against the grain and my guess will be Opalka tomatoes. They look awfully alike the ones I just picked off.
The kind you eat.
They’re a plum tomato of some sort. There are a million different varieties.
Most likely Roma but could be SMZ. If they have blossom end rot, then def Roma. I do not grow them anymore for that reason. SMZ tend to be bigger and more tapered. Roma more pear shaped. I Grow SMZ for sauce and salsa, even fresh.
Roma, SNA Marzano would be a special order, pretty rare at most seed suppliers
i grew romas last year (fantastic yield, marked determinate but i planted it in the ground and it grew out of control lol), i thought they were characteristically smoother in shape like an 🥚.
idk if there are sub-varieties of romas BUT just first glance i said “oh shit are those san marzano’s??”. either way they look healthy & gorgeous before first blush but if they are SM’s you are so so lucky pls can some
I second, third, or fourth the San Marzano vote. I’ve got 17 plants of them right now, and they look like mine. On the other hand, I’ve seen nothing but San Marzano anything for weeks, so take my advice with a grain of salt.
San Marzano more than likely. I grow Romas every year and they never have that irregular shape. They look great so far btw!
Looks like San Marzano to me! Currently growing some and they look identical to mine. Can’t wait to make sauce with them!
You’re lucky that you have so many. Don’t know what region you’re growing these in, but they’re very hard to grow in mine. Kudos!
Green at the momemt
Definitely San Marzano I’m growing the same

Here are my San Marzanos, same ones I believe!
Paste, like roma
Everyone saying San Marzano but they look very very similar to my Roma’s.
Plum, or canning tomatoes. Specifically, may be romas or San Marzanos.
I’d say those are plum tomatoes ,San Marzano are a little less rounded coming to a small point on the bottom .
ROMA ROMAMA GAGA OOH LA LA
Roma?
Look like Roma to me
