I bought this all american pressure canner used about a month ago, went to use it and I didn't realize it didn't have the weight included. I live in canada, anywhere I can get one without spending an arm and a leg?

I would send an email to them asking if you can use the modern weight or if you need to replace the vent pipe with a modern one.
Plan B, ebay.

I have the exact same one that came with that vent pipe! I got a replacement straight vent pipe and weight from the All American canner site. It holds pressure perfectly. I also swapped out the gauge for the new style from the site as well.

I second replacing the vent valve with the fitting to use a jiggler weight.
I would not trust the pressure gauge unless you get it tested first.
I’m pretty sure this canner is also missing the over-pressure plug. That plug is supposed to go in the hole behind the handle. If I’m right, the canner won’t develop pressure until you get that fixed. Do NOT plug this hole with anything other than the correct over pressure plug for safe operation

Be very careful on replacing the petcock, I just got mine and tried to change it out. I snapped it at the bottom of the stem, and I am unable to get the broken piece out.
