This is where my love for onions began…but how did you get them to give you so many? My order v e r b a t i m is always “can I get extra, EXTRA onions?” and I still only get a teaspoon at best. Anger ensues every time.

But if you asked me on a *deeper* level- I’d say My God, yes. They’re the perfect cut, the perfect size. Perfect crunch. The more of them, the better- on a McDouble with Mac sauce, on a McChicken, Filet-O-Fish, even. Hell, give me a bun with some cheese, and 4oz of these bad boys, send me to Nirvana. I can’t get enough of them. My mouth even waters looking at this picture.

Stoked to see these mentioned here and also stoked to see my onion journey started the same way as many of you. Between these and the onions in a bean and cheese burrito from Taco Bell I found my obsession, which I wouldn’t be able to deep dive into for several years because whenever I ate a cheese burger from mcd’s or a bean and cheese burrito and my adhd-riddled little brain begged my parents for an explanation of the “tasty little crunchy pieces” they had no idea what I was talking about and thought I was crazy. I vividly remember finally working up the courage to ask a McDonald’s employee what the tiny crunchy pieces on my cheeseburger were at maybe seven or eight, and they laughed and said they were the dehydrated onions and got me a little plastic cup full, on the house. Pure joy.

I love those onions but 1) they don’t put those on QPCs so fuck em and 2) eating any substantial quantity of McDonalds makes me regret both the price and how it makes me feel.
