The hostess had been craving chocolate-chocolate cake. When I made and brought this, she said, "You'll have to take half home–I can't have that here or I'll eat it." After we ate dessert, she went back in the house, tucked the cake in the fridge, and announced it was staying with her! 🤣
Classic Hershey cake recipe (addition of instant coffee), filled and frosted with a whipped ganache made with a blend of dark, semisweet and milk chocolates (to soften the bitterness). The strawberries are dipped in the ganache and then rolled in Swedish pearl sugar. I'll be making this again soon.
