Had it a couple of times, I enjoyed it, especially the noodles. Sodium content is a bit much, so watch your stomach

  2. hagalaz_drums

Many people here have tried it and said it’s not very hot but it is extremely salty

  3. I’ve only heard bad things about it so I’ll pass

  4. Spicy_Tomatillo

Thought it was pretty good on spice. Super salty. Not a fan.

  5. MagnusAlbusPater

It’s not bad but there’s not much real
Ghost pepper flavor in it, it’s mostly extract and chemicals used.

Putting some actual ghost pepper sauce in it helped.

    It is salty.

  6. PhilRubdiez

Spicy, but the chemical taste is a bit much. The extract is doing a lot of heavy lifting. I don’t even have a problem with extract sauces, but this one I did.

I’d recommend trying it once just to try. Make up your own mind from there.

The heat is mainly from extract but it is spicy enough to open my sinuses. It has way too much salt and I’m not sure why, other than the soup would be too bland otherwise. The soup itself is not that good IMO, but the spice level is surprisingly high for something from Campbell’s.

IMO the regular Campbell’s Chunky Classic Chicken Noodle is a decent tasting soup and if you just add some ghost pepper powder to it you would have a better product than this stuff.

I’ve had the chicken noodle several times. It’s pretty hot but soup seems the wrong vehicle for this. And it’s $2.28/can here!

  9. I’m not big on salt and I like it so i havent had the impression its salty like some.. It taste good and has a little heat.

  10. Serious_Internet6478

I did try this. It did not have enough flavor for me.

  11. Boto_Penga

No because guaranteed it doesn’t contain pieces of ghost pepper, just some extract bullshit.

  12. OkConflict3037

I think it’s pretty decent. Tastes like regular chicken noodle soup but with a little bit of spice and more salt.

  13. cycle_addict_

I’ve had probably 10 cans since it came out.

    It’s.. remarkably boring.

It’s Campbell’s chicken noodle soup. Generic boring chicken cubes, carrot disks, mushy celery and those oddly rubbery noodles.

It is hot. Your sinuses will drip, your mouth will burn.

I find my stomach feels hot for about an hour after, but no cramps.

Id rather buy better soup and add my own hot sauce to heat it up.

I prefer the progresso spicy soups. The jambalaya is downright hot.

  16. AmaroisKing

I have a food mantra of trying everything at least once , so Yes.

  17. dicemonkey

I would have no issue trying it …but I’m not paying for Campbells soup…

  18. kikostoner

posted the same thing here a month ago or so, i’ve gotten multiple cans since! i like the heat and add cheese and it’s good to me

  19. purplehorseneigh

Taste is…fine. Bit of spice, but it is like…feaper exaggerating.

The pain of this stuff is not so much in your mouth so much as it is when it comes out of you…so yeah. not worth it.

  20. Sufficient_Tooth_949

Its $3, try it if you want, I found it mildly spicy but overall it doesn’t have alot of flavor to it

  21. It’s horrible.

It tastes like someone made a ghost pepper broth threw some pasta in the pot and waved a chicken over it. It is so salty and lacking of any good flavor.

Buy their regular chicken noodle soup instead, and add your favorite ghost pepper sauce to it.

  22. ratchetcoutoure

It’s one of my favorite things ever since released, hope they will never stop being produced. As far as heta level, it is tame for me.

  23. spacecat81

It’s hot but not very tasty in my opinion. I think buying a regular chicken noodle and adding your own hot sauce would be so much better

  24. tinyyawns

I have and it was just okay. Some things don’t need to be spicy, like classic chicken noodle soup. It was spicy but just had an acidic cayenne flavor.

  25. Small_Tax_9432

Nah. I tried the Reaper chicken from Dave’s Hot Chicken and I didn’t enjoy it. I doubt I’d enjoy this.

  26. Tried it. Awful. Seriously, you don’t need much more of a review than that.

  27. I want to try it, but I always avoid a lot of Chunky and Campbell’s soups because of their high sodium. If anyone could name some brands that don’t have high sodium, let me know.

  28. It’s a lot of salt, dilute it a bit and it’s pretty good

  29. SakaYeen6

I ate this when i had Covid, knocked the congestion right out, for a decent while anyways. Pretty solid imo.

  30. I have it’s not too bad. Not very spicy at all but the flavor is what you’d expect, it’s better than their normal chicken noodle soup but it’s still just canned chicken noodle soup.
